When I'm not doing maths I do my utmost to travel, abuse electric guitars and brew ridiculously hoppy beer. Here are some links.
I used to play in the experimental rock band 'Sticky Antlers' and help run the KRNGY independent record label in South Africa. The label is still going. You can listen to (and buy) records from them.
Mongol Rally 2012
In the summer of 2012, four of us drove from Cambridge, UK to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in a little Daihatsu Terios. Why? For adventure, and charity. We raised upwards of £4000 for rhino conservation in South Africa and the Lotus Children's Centre in Mongolia.
I have been brewing in small batches for a while. Click the whale for some of my favourite recipes.
My partner, Meline Joaris BVSc MRCVS, is a veterinary surgeon. She heals, rescues and occasionally adopts animals. Also, she is a great cook.
